Get Involved in Participatory Budgeting!

Want to make a real impact in your community? Join the Participatory Budgeting (PB) process and help shape local projects that matter. As a volunteer, you’ll meet for two hours a week from mid-April to early July, working with fellow community members and a budget delegate to develop and refine project ideas.

  • No experience needed – Training runs from mid-April through May to help you understand the PB process, the Neighborhood Compass, and how to best support your community.
  • Flexible participation – Join virtual or in-person meetings at your convenience.
  • Engaging events – Attend in-person gatherings where residents can share ideas. A $25 gift card is available to encourage participation.
  • Facilitators needed – Help lead discussions in 2-3 hour sessions to guide the PB process.
  • Be a decision-maker – From May to July, budget delegates will develop proposals that could directly benefit your neighborhood.
